My war2pol1.net46.net account was recently suspended with the following reason - "Unmanaged or abandoned website that allows anonymous posting. MySQL database is overloaded with thousands of junk records". So unless something has drastically changed over the last two days (like the forum being hacked or a thing like that - in which case I have a backup to restore) I can't see why my account should be suspended and I'd like to ask for an unsuspension.

Hello,
Your forum had over 5000 posts which confirms it is not normal. Spam bots register with your forum automatically and keep posting junk which overloads server.
We can only unsuspend if you upgrade.

How isn't this normal? It's a forum estabilished in 2003, it would be abnormal if it DIDN'T HAVE that many posts! In fact, 18000 posts sounds about right, we used to have a pretty active userbase, and this still comes out to about 6 posts per day on the whole
forum. And spambots most certainly DO NOT register and post anything, I make sure of that - I hate those things more than anybody, before moving here and upgrading to phpBB3 with captcha as part of the registration process I even closed down registration completely for quite some time to combat that menace.

I have not broken any of the rules, nor I don't see anything that would make semi-large forums (which are actual forums, with posts still created by actual users) fall under "premium hosting only". The only thing that's even true from what you said is that I have more than 18000 posts on my foum - it isn't abandoned, isn't unmanaged, doesn't allow annonymous posting, DOESN'T have a spambot problem (I haven't had one register in years!), and the database entries aren't junk. Please unsuspend the account, or at least point me to a "having more than 18k posts on a forum isn't allowed with free hosting" clause in the ToS.

Are those outright lies, right there on the front page? Your shakedown tactics won't work. Show me which of the ToS for the free service I've broken (and don't make things up) or unsuspend my account.

Ich pech że mam ten stosunkowo świeży backup, no i że niestety nie cenię waszej miesięcznej produkcji w postach na $60
. Tak więc oto jesteśmy na cba.pl, który zresztą i tak wydaje się być znacznie lepszym hostem (niestety z tego co na razie widziałem bez gwarancji braku reklam). Shoutbox'a postaram się przywrócić w najbliższym czasie. Zginęło wszystko co było uploadowane, co oznacza że avatary musicie wgrać sobie ponownie - jak nie macie gdzieś zapisanych, zawsze warto sprawdzić tymczasowe pliki przeglądarki, wciąż tam mogą siedzieć.
